Reading your own record
The trend, the repeated failures, virtue coverage, and what the app refuses to claim.
By the end of this lesson
- Read the trend without over-reading a short run
- Find the test questions you fail repeatedly
- Notice which virtues your work never touches

The lesson
The insights page is where a practice becomes visible to the person doing it, and it is built to resist a few specific ways of fooling yourself.
The first is the trend. Scores move for reasons that have nothing to do with the work — you took a test on a bad day, you were unusually careful once. A single reading is noise. The shape over several is the thing.
The second is the pattern of repeated failures. Reading across every attempt on every project, the same question failing repeatedly is a finding about how you think rather than about any one project, and it is usually more useful than any individual score. The app will not make this claim until it has enough attempts to support it, and it says so rather than showing a confident figure built on two data points.
Third is virtue coverage. Tagging projects and practice logs with the virtues they exercise produces, over time, a picture of which questions you habitually ask and which you never do. The gaps are the interesting part. Most people find they have two or three they return to and several they have never touched.
The restraint is worth noticing. Several sections stay silent rather than showing something built on too little data. A page that always has an answer is a page that is sometimes making one up, and a practice record that overclaims is not much use to the person keeping it.
