The lesson
You have now written all six answers. This lesson is about the pass you make over them together, because the six are meant to hang off the first one and frequently do not on a first attempt.
Read them in order and check that each is still about the people you named at the start. The common drift is that the middle steps quietly become about the thing you are building, and by the last step you are describing a product. If that has happened, the fix is upward: the earlier answer was probably too vague to hold the later ones in place.
The app will review an individual answer and give it a score and a note. It is worth understanding what that review is doing. It is looking for a named specific person rather than a category, for something checkable rather than a general claim, for honesty about what is not yet known, and for whether you answered the step that was asked rather than a neighbouring one. That last one catches more drafts than people expect.
Treat the rewrite as a proposal. It will not invent details you did not supply — that is deliberate — so where it is thin, the thinness is in your source material rather than in the review. An empty field is a truthful answer from a reader who had nothing to work with, and it is more useful than an invented one.
One practical note: assists are metered by plan. Stopping a review that is running returns the assist to your quota, so there is no cost to changing your mind.
Do this in the app
Put the lesson down somewhere real
Read your six answers in order and fix any that drifted from the people you named first.
Done when — Each of the six is still recognisably about the same people.
/dashboardRun the review on your weakest answer and rewrite it yourself using the note.
Done when — The answer improved and the words are still yours.
